Jeff Guy was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria on 2 April 1990. On 27 July 1994 he was admitted to practise as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Before becoming a Solicitor, Jeff's experience in business included banking, marketing, management consultancy and publishing.
Whilst a Solicitor, Jeff has been principally engaged in commercial litigation and dispute resolution specialising in contractual and equitable disputes, insolvency, corporate reconstruction, intellectual property, banking and securities.
Jeff’s experience enables him to deal effectively with large and complex
litigious and contentious matters and to bring to all matters a commercial and pragmatic perspective.
Jeff has provided advice and services to statutory bodies and quasi-government authorities and has represented Australian interests in East Timor, Japan, United States, South Africa and Europe.
Mark practices in all aspects of property and commercial law. He has worked to assist clients with developing land, settling disputes within Body Corporates (including making applications to the Commissioner’s office) and restructuring their business affairs to create and implement a framework that complements their business practices. He has also assisted clients with succession planning and has drafted and used testamentary discretionary trusts to enable clients to uphold their wishes.
He is approachable, down to earth and commercial in his advice. He will do his best to ensure that you are successful in your endeavours.
Jodie Bell graduated from the University of Adelaide with Honours in Law and Psychology, and completed her articles of clerkship as Judges’ Associate in the District Court at Townsville and at a large regional firm.
Jodie is principally engaged in commercial and commercial property matters, with experience in contractual and equitable disputes, commercial and retail shop leasing, business sales and purchases, land subdivisions and development, wills, estate planning and administration.
When she’s not in the office, Jodie can be found in local productions as an active member of the Townsville theatre community, or at Bunnings, as serial renovator.
